With summer officially here, the time we spend in our yards and outdoors is bound to increase drastically. The kids are out of school (some adults, too) and we’ll all be looking for ways to keep our children entertained and active all summer.
And it’s likely that while we are outside, we’ll really get a good look at our windows and the beating they took during the long winter and spring.
Although you could have your children earn some cash and wash your windows by hand, chances are it’ll take them days (depending on the size and number of windows you have). In the end, they likely won’t be as clean as you’d like.
That’s one of the many reasons we recommend power/pressure washing your windows. Here are a few more reasons in case you need convincing:
- It’s quicker than hand washing your windows.
- It’s more effective than hand washing your windows by using pressure to force the dirt and grim loose.
- It’s often safer to use a power washer than standing on a ladder and trying to clean the whole window.
- You don’t need to use chemical-heavy cleaning solutions – the pressure of the water does wonders for removing dirt.
If you’re going to use a pressure washer on your own, make sure you find the correct attachments for washing the windows and that you use the right amount of pressure. The pressure you would use to wash your house is not the same you’d use to wash your windows!
